The gay village is located on and around Davie Street in Vancouver's west end, with English Bay Beach and Sunset Beach just a few blocks away. Stanley Park, a huge natural reserve, is also a short walk away. Vancouver is the largest metropolitan area in western Canada and the 3rd largest in Canada, after Toronto and Montreal. It is also the 3rd largest film production area in North America, after Hollywood and New York.
