Bournemouth
has been a gay mecca for many years, even when it used to be a sleepy retirement
town. It has become a lot more cosmopolitan over the last decade and even
has a gay village, minutes from the city center, up the hill, in the area
called The Triangle.
It
also has Studland beach a short distance away, which is probably one of
the world's most famous gay nudist beaches. It's reached by taking the
bus (locally known as the Handbag Express) to Poole harbour, then the Sandbanks
ferry across to Studland.
